MWL Architects, LLC provides facility design services to LCS Corrections Services, Inc. MWL Architects traces its roots to its predecessor The LeBlanc Group, Inc., a Lafayette, Louisiana architecture firm established in 1956. With decades of experience in institutional design with a strong focus on jails and prisons, the architects of The LeBlanc Group (and later MWL Architects) became the design source for LCS projects.

MWL Architects and its predecessor recently completed the design and construction management of our newest facility, the 1,056-bed Coastal Bend Detention Center near Corpus Christi, Texas. MWL Architects is currently engaged in three correctional facility design and construction management projects for the county governments of Alcorn, Chickasaw, and Marion Counties in Mississippi.

The firm's architects are well-versed in both ACA and various state requirements for correctional facilities, eliminating the need to rely on outside consultants—a key factor in managing both design costs and timelines.
