CPDC is a 240-bed multi-use facility and is the smallest in the LCS Corrections Services, Inc. portfolio. The facility was built by an allied company, LeBlanc Construction Company, in 1995 for the Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Office. LCS Corrections Services, Inc. began operating the facility in December 2003. Despite its size, the facility offers a full array of offender services and programs, and has housed both male and female offenders for Louisiana DPSC and Alabama DOC as well as male offenders for the Harris County, Texas jail system. |
