General Information:	EHDC is an 900-bed multi-use facility serving federal and local clients. LCS Corrections Services, Inc. acquired this facility in the fall of 2001 and subsequently added a 144-bed maximum security housing area. EHDC boasts an extensive transportation department and provides daily transportation of U.S. Marshals Service offenders to federal courthouses in the area. The facility underwent renovation and expansion of the Intake and Medical Departments in 2010. Currently underway are expansion and renovation of the visitation area and the construction of a new housing unit which will offer an additional 368 beds.
